Dear Friend,
Would you say you are living out your “larger story” in life? When I owned an advertising agency, I thought I was living out my larger story. After all, I was a church goer, I tithed, and I was active in my local community. Little did I know what God was about to do.
After a major life crisis shook the foundations of my life and my beliefs, God took me on a journey, what I call “The Joseph Process”, to shape me into the person He needed me to be to fulfill my destiny. This process was very painful but now, many years later, after visiting more than 25 nations and authoring 17 books on faith and work, I see in hindsight what God was doing. He was reserving my heavenly reward, just like a mentor told me as I sat at the table with him, tears streaming down my face – just one year after my world came crashing down.
I don’t know about you, but I believe there are many “Josephs” in the world right now, being trained for their greater destiny. Like Joseph in the Bible, they have experienced incredible hardship – financial, relational, or health-related, but God is going to use these events to shape them for a greater purpose.
